About Us |

| We are a
medium sized parish council and with 12 councillors and we are located
within the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull, West Midlands. Most of
our residents live within Balsall Common and our area covers about
two-thirds of Balsall Common. We also cover Fen End, Temple Balsall, Meer End and
Chadwick End. Balsall Common, though once a village, is now a thriving medium-sized urban area. Our parish, however, still includes extensive rural areas within Temple Balsall, Meer End, Fen End and Chadwick End. Of our councillors, 10 represent the East Ward which is the urban area, and 2 represent the West Ward, our rural area. We also have one member of staff, Mrs Lesley Dury, the Clerk, who works part-time hours. |
